So I got through my first semester just fine, by the tune of a 4.0 gpa! I'm thrilled that I was able to pull that off, but then I bring myself back down my reminding myself that my classes weren't actually all that difficult this semester(college algebra, intro to programming I and digital logic). Next semester will be my real test as far as what I can accomplish(intro to programming II, computer organization, calculus I and physics I). I'm only in trig this summer after all after some... confusion as far as registering for chem lab. My netbook also mysteriously died somehow and needs to be restored to factory settings, which I will get around to doing one day I swear. *whistles innocently*

I got it last Tuesday and I've been out twice so far. The only thing I regret is buying it right at the start of summer which means that it's just way too hot to ride during the day so until it cools off, my riding is limited to evenings (and theoretically, mornings, AS IF THAT ACTUALLY STANDS A CHANCE OF HAPPENING.) I might go out again tonight, once it cools down. Riding it is actually surprisingly fun for me, if the temperature isn't ridiculous. Once things cool off, I actually plan on riding it to school and work sometimes, which will be nice. :)
What I like about this bicycle is that is sacrifices some aerodynamic features for comfort of riding by altering the placement of the seat and the little spinny gear thingy (I assure you, that is the scientific term >.>). You wouldn't think that would make a lot of difference, or at least I wouldn't really, but once you ride it, you can feel the difference. You don't hunch over or have to sit awkwardly. It's actually surprisingly comfortable.
Also, one day I will be able to do an lj cut without looking up the code in the FAQs... ONE DAY.
